Who writes the pages

The team that builds PicBarn writes the guides, the glossary, the requirements pages and the category pages. We have sold on Amazon and Shopify ourselves and we run every tool described on this site with the real engines before we describe it.

What a page may cite

Marketplace rules are cited only from the platform's own help pages, with the URL and the date we read it. Numbers that are ours, such as working minimums for text size, are labelled as ours. We do not cite or link other tools in our category, and we do not quote third-party blogs for platform rules.

How we use AI in writing

Some drafts start from an AI writing workflow. Every published page is then rewritten by a person against the source list: competitor citations are removed, every figure is checked against the platform page, and the structure is tightened. No page is published as an unreviewed draft. Images on marketing pages are generated by the same engines customers use and are reviewed by eye before publication; a page never shows a result the tool cannot reproduce.

Spelling and voice

British spelling, plain sentences, no superlatives. When a tool has a limit we state it on the tool's page, not only in a footnote.

Dates and updates

Every page carries a last-updated date in its metadata. Requirements pages carry the date their sources were last read. When a platform changes a rule we update the page and the date; we do not bump dates without a change.

Corrections

Report an error through the contact page. We correct the page, note the correction where it matters, and thank you.

Signed-in users can open a support ticket from the studio; we answer within one business day.
