Questions

Is the image uploaded or stored?

It is analysed in memory and discarded. Nothing is saved and no account is needed.

What exactly is measured?

Pixel size, file size and format; the colour of the four corners (Amazon wants RGB 255, 255, 255); the bounding box of the product against the frame (Amazon wants 85%); whether the image is square (TikTok Shop); and whether a JPEG carries Amazon’s contains-synthetic-performer keyword for AI-generated people.

What can it not check?

Content: whether the product is accurately represented, props, claims, mannequins, model pose. Those are reviewed by people. Treat a green result as “passes the measurable rules”, not as approval.

Why does a generated image fail the main-image row?

Amazon and TikTok Shop require the main image to be the real product; Etsy requires one unedited photo. Generated scene, model and infographic images belong in the gallery slots.

Where do the rules come from?

Amazon Seller Central product image requirements and AI-people tagging page, TikTok Shop Seller University listing policy and AI-image rules, Etsy Help listing-photo and listing-image pages, Shopify product media help. Each row links to its source.
