Privacy policy

What we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Summary

This policy applies to PicBarn (picbarn.com). "We" and "us" mean PicBarn.

You need an account to generate images. We store your account details, the images you upload, the images we generate for you, and your payment history. We do not sell personal information and we do not train models on your product images.

What we collect

Account. Email address, name (optional) and a hashed password, or the identity returned by a social sign-in provider you choose.

Your images. Product photos you upload and the candidates we generate from them. They are stored on our object storage so you can come back to them, and they are sent to the generation provider only for the duration of the job. You can delete a project at any time; its images are removed with it.

Payments. Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive the order amount, the product you bought and a payment reference — never your card number.

Usage. Server logs (IP address, time, endpoint) kept for security and debugging, and privacy-respecting analytics (page views, no cross-site tracking) if enabled.

Cookies

We set a session cookie to keep you signed in and a theme cookie to remember light or dark mode. There are no advertising cookies.

Generated images

Models in the library are synthetic. You may use the generated images in your own listings and marketing. We do not claim rights over your product photos or the images generated from them.

Your choices

You can export or delete your data by deleting projects and then your account from Settings → Profile, or by contacting us.

Contact

Signed-in users can open a support ticket from the studio; we answer within one business day.
