Phone case and tech accessory photos: fit, ports and in-use shots
Tech accessory buyers want proof that it fits their exact device and works as described. The gallery shows the accessory on the device, the cut-outs and ports up close, and nothing it does not do.
The gallery this category needs
- 1
Your own photo of the case or accessory on pure white, front and back
Shows the product exactly as shipped, which marketplaces check first.
- 2
On the device, with the camera, buttons and ports visible
Fit and cut-out alignment are the main reason buyers choose or return a case.
- 3
Close-up of cut-outs, buttons, cables or connectors
Shows build quality and confirms compatibility with chargers and accessories.
- 4
In hand or on a desk in use
Gives a sense of size, grip and how it looks day to day.
- 5
Compatibility image listing the exact device models in real text
Wrong-model orders are a top return reason, and a clear list prevents them.
- 6
What is in the box: cables, adaptors, screen protector
Shows what is and is not included, which prevents "no charger" complaints.

Platform rules that bite here
TikTok Shop
Placeholders and digital renderings are not allowed in the main image, and only what the customer receives may be shown. A factory 3D render of a case on a phone does not qualify, and neither does a phone that is not included.
TikTok Shop
AIGC must not add glow, motion or effects that suggest unsupported functionality, such as generated charging glows or signal waves.
Amazon
The main image allows only included accessories, so a case shown on a phone implies the phone ships unless the case is shown alone.
Amazon A+
A+ images may not include competitor comparisons, so "fits better than brand X" charts stay out.
What gets this category rejected or ignored
- A supplier's 3D render used instead of a photo of the real case.
- The phone itself in the main image when it is not included.
- Screen content showing apps, logos or notifications you do not have rights to.
- Generated glows or lightning effects on chargers and power banks.
- Compatibility only in the title, not on an image.
Questions
Can I show the case on a phone in the main image?
On Amazon and TikTok Shop, only included items belong in the main image, so show the case alone. Put it on the phone in image two.
Are 3D renders allowed?
TikTok Shop does not allow placeholders or digital renderings as the main image, and photographing the real product is safer everywhere. Renders can still help in a later gallery image on other marketplaces.
What should be on the phone screen?
A plain screen or your own artwork. Avoid third-party apps, logos and notifications.
How do I show compatibility?
One image listing the exact device models in large real text, plus the case on one of those devices.
