Brand Story
Brand Story is an Amazon A+ module that tells shoppers about the brand rather than the single product, shown as a horizontal carousel of images and short text on the detail page.
Brand Story is created in A+ Content Manager, the same place as A+ modules, and appears on the detail pages of the products it is applied to. Where an A+ module explains one product, Brand Story explains who makes it, what the range is and why the brand exists, and it can point shoppers to other products from the same brand.
Because it is part of A+, the A+ Content guidelines apply. Images must be jpg, bmp or png, RGB only, under 2 MB each and at least 72 dpi, with no watermarks, QR codes, hyperlinks, external links or contact details. Time-sensitive and promotional language, prices and guarantee claims are not allowed, and approval can take up to 7 business days.
Sellers often treat Brand Story as an advert and fill it with offers, "top-rated" claims or award logos. The KDP version of the guidelines bans "top-rated" and satisfaction or guarantee claims, and says awards need a date and the awarding organisation and must be no older than 2 years. Another frequent mistake is reusing gallery photos, which the guidelines list as a don't, or adding a website address, which counts as external contact details.
The module image sizes for Brand Story are set in A+ Content Manager and are not listed on the guidelines page we checked, so take them from the upload screen for each module rather than from third-party templates.
Brand-level lifestyle scenes from PicBarn's scene library can supply the background images, as long as they differ from the photos already in your gallery.
